HTML intro

Three things I want to learn are how to use HTML, how to use it to make a website, and how it could be used out side of computers. Two things I have learned about HTML are it's declared in the lang attribute and there are many attribute. One thing I am concerned about making a website is that it won't look the way I want it.

History: Columbus's True Legacy

The real Christopher Columbus was a cruel, selfish explorer who did anything for riches. He was all about gold and conquering land. I don't blame him for being an uptight jerk since if he comes back from the new world, which he thought as the Indies, with nothing the king and queen of spain, and probably the rest of Spain, would want him dead since they took a chance on him and he didn't produce. He didn't, though, need to use brutality on the Native Americans since they didn't speak his language and couldn't understand what he wanted them to do. His legacy was to find a water route to the Indies and to be a greedy explorer who wanted nothing to do with discovery, but riches. He even wrote the "Book of Privileges" so he made sure he got what he wanted. That is the real Christopher Columbus.
People of the United States should continue to celebrate Columbus, but also celebrate and observe Americo Vespuchi. Since he was the one who actually said that the land Columbus found was really a whole other continent and not the Indies. Also, Columbus, although being cruel and brutal, he was the first person from the old world to set foot and to travel to the new world. We should celebrate Vespuchi for his discoveries and Columbus for his. Columbus didn't know how to respond when he saw different people, that is why he acted the way he did.
